Game Designer

 

Hongyi is a former senior game designer at Tencent. After graduation from Interactive Media and Game Design major at School of Cinematic Arts at University of Southern California, he worked at Tencent for more than three years.

For Hongyi, game designers are like film directors. It is important to narrate a sentiment story with various emotions. Games build up the connections among players and stories in a virtual world through these emotions with the power of creativity and technology. He keeps exploring the realm of games through incessant practice in games, programming, level design and usability tests.
